Seeding units are driven by electric drives with electronic control and seeding control, which combines ease of maintenance, reliability and accuracy of seeding corn, sunflower and other row crops. Seeding rate adjustment is carried out from the tractor cab by operator using the joystick.
Installed electric drive and software allow you to perform functions using a tablet from the tractor cab:
- Individual automatic disconnection of sections
- Sequential control of variable seeding rate
-Turning compensation for the angular speed of rotation for each seeding unit
- Manual or automatic control of the seeding rate by Rx task maps
- Quality control of sowing seeds in the form of histograms
- Reports on maps of actual application with color highlighting problem areas
- Adjustment rotation speed of electric motors is carried out: by manual input of the required parameters; signal from third-party GPS receivers; speed radar signal

With this system, the gearbox, shafts, chains and gears are eliminated from the metering units, there is no need to waste time changing pinions to set a different seeding rate.
Working speed increases
A unique wireless system with electric drives on the Ukrainian market. The operator uses an Android tablet to control the system. The tablet connects to the controller using a Bluetooth connection.
Controller uses a patented wireless protocol to communicate with the planter controller. This means that the only wiring on the drill is to power the electric motors.
Controller integrates with any third-party GPS receivers to determine the location.
Seeder is equipped with plastic hoppers made of high quality polyethylene. This, in turn, provides a significantly lower hopper weight; resistance to various types of corrosion; and vibration resistance. In addition, these bins do not require periodic painting.
VEGA 8 PROFI seeder has a total capacity of the seed hoppers - 416 l, and 680 l - for fertilizers. So, for example, at the seeding rate of corn - 5 seeds per 1 running meter - the seeder can sow 6 hectares without additional loading.

A protective mesh for sifting fertilizers is installed in the fertilizer tank, which helps to prevent the ingress of stones and large objects that can disrupt the operation of the seeder.
Use of high-pressure hoses of improved quality with double swaging allows the drill to operate under more demanding conditions without the fear of hydraulic fluid leaks and breaks under high pressure.
New gauge wheels with spokes prevent the adhesion of soil on the inner surface of the wheel, and as a result, damage to the bearing assembly of the disc opener hub of the section is eliminated and its service life is increased.
Disc coulters with new bearing unit. The seeders use double-row ball bearings of the FKL firm, which have an increased service life and a greater resistance to dynamic loads.
Usege of double-disc fertilizer openers on Vega seeders has improved the quality of soil fertilization. By the consumers request, single-disc fertilizer openers could be installed on the seeder,optionally.
Design of the coupling hitch allows for aggregation with tractors of different manufacturers.
Due to the fact, that the fan is installed on the trailer unit, the possibility of cardan breakage during turns is excluded, and there is no needs to turn off the tractor PTO shaft, which eliminates the loss of seeds and reduces the time for turning around.
Maximum combination of seeds discharge into the seeding bed and the support point of the side wheels precisely maintains the specified seeding depth, ensuring uniform germination and increasing yields and prosperity.
The copying wheels are mounted on a balance beam and can move independently from each other, overcoming obstacles up to 50 mm high, without reducing the sowing depth.
For direct sowing on stubble, a coulter (cutting disc) can be installed instead of lump disposal, as an additional option.
The production line was equipped with a powder coating line -Ideal-line (Denmark). This painting technology makes it possible to produce high-quality paintwork with a guaranteed service life up to 8 years.
The usege of hardware with a strength class, at least 8.8, ensures reliability and durability of exploitation.
Fuel consumption when working with a 90 hp tractor is 2.6-2.9 l/ha.
