The sowing device is equipped with two types of coils:

Coulters have an adjustable elastic stroke, which allows each coulter to individually overcome obstacles and follow the terrain releif.
Increased service life of the double-disc opener up to 100%, due to the use of boron-containing, increased hardness steels. The double-disc single-row opener allows sowing at the fields with a large amount of crop residues; the uniformity design of the coulter-press roller unit allows the coulter to be adjusted to a predetermined depth. ASTRA 3 has excellent planting depth control. The result is totally germination, which contributes to increased yields throughout the field.
The press wheels allow sowing in different soil moisture conditions. New reliable depth adjustment system ensures a stable, uniform seed placement depth. DUROSTAT 400 wear-resistant steel wipers are installed to clean the press wheels and ensure a stable seeding depth, which increases the wipers' service life.
The front and rear shafts of the coulter linkage are connected by a lanyard, which enables group adjustment of the coulter stroke depth.
The harrow, as standard, covers moisture and levelling of the field surface. The harrows have adjustable angle of attack and soil pressure, which extends their range of use in different climatic conditions.
The safety-enhancing steel non-slip footrests are located across the entire width of the drill and provide easy access to the seed hopper for loading.
The ASTRA 3 has a total grain hopper capacity of 500 litres, which makes it possible to sow 3 hectares of wheat at a sowing rate of 200 kg/ha with one load.
The tedder installed in the hopper ensures a uniform grain flow to the sowing unit without blockages and slackening.
The markers lowered and raised by a hydraulic mechanism that consists of a hydraulic cylinder and a high-pressure hose, and controlled from the tractor cab. The marker itself folded in half to reduce the height of the seeder.
