THE LARGEST AGRICULTURAL MACHINE-BUILDING FACTORY ELVORTI CELEBRATES - 150 YEARS!

The 150th anniversary of the founding of JSC "Elvorti," one of the leading enterprises in the agricultural machinery industry in Ukraine, celebrated in Kropyvnytskyi on July 26, 2024.

The festivities were attended by the head of the regional military administration Andriy Raikovych, the first deputy chairman of the regional council Yuriy Semenyuk, the deputy mayor of Kropyvnytskyi Oleksandr Mosin, representatives of the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, colleagues from industrial enterprises in the Kirovohrad region.

Guests and hosts of the anniversary events together laid flowers at the monument to the founders of the enterprise - the English entrepreneurs, brothers Robert and Thomas Elworthy. The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of "Elvorti Group" Pavlo Shtutman recounted the history of the Elworthy family, the creation and development of the enterprise, demonstrated rare and modern samples of agricultural machinery, and conducted a tour of the factory's production workshops.

"The history of Elvorti is closely intertwined with the history of the regional center. Notable names of powerful leaders, a large army of skilled engineers, economists, and the working class. There was probably no family in our city where someone did not work at the factory. We always called our machine-building enterprises the backbone of Ukraine's economy," said Andriy Raikovych, head of the regional military administration, congratulating the workers.

"In a relatively short time since its founding, the enterprise has achieved remarkable success," noted Yuriy Semenyuk, first deputy chairman of the regional council, congratulating the celebrants. "First and foremost, this was thanks to the personalities of the founding brothers, their managerial and engineering skills, but also their respect for the city and country where they lived and worked. Congratulations on your 150th anniversary; I wish you further prosperity and leadership. May each day bring new ideas on how to become an even more successful, richer, and cooler team!"

Yuriy Semenyuk and Andriy Raikovych presented awards from the regional council and the regional administration to the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of "Elvorti Group" Pavlo Shtutman and the Chairman of the Board-General Director of JSC "Elvorti" Serhiy Kalapa.

Deputy Mayor of Kropyvnytskyi Oleksandr Mosin, for significant contributions to the socio-economic sphere of Kropyvnytskyi, high professionalism, diligent work, and on the 150th anniversary of the founding of JSC "Elvorti," awarded honorary certificates from the Kropyvnytskyi City Council and Executive Committee to the team of JSC "Elvorti."

Honored guests of the 150th-anniversary celebrations of the "Elvorti" company included: General Director of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine - Ruslan Illichov, General Director of the Kirovohrad Regional Union of Employers' Organizations - Oleksandr Saĭnsus, President of the Kirovohrad Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Iryna Saienko, General Director of LLC "Agrorresurs" - Stanislav Martynov, and other honored guests.

On the occasion of the 150th anniversary, the management of LLC "Agrorresurs" awarded the team of JSC "Elvorti" with a Certificate from the international organization White Dwarf Research Corporation, within the framework of the World Project PALE BLUE DOT, certifying the registration in the Milky Way galaxy of the "Elvorti Constellation," with its brightest historical stars of the factory's development: C3-3.6, SUPN-8, C3-5.4, UPS-8, ALFA-6, VEGA-8.

During the festivities, the company’s management also awarded the best employees of JSC "Elvorti." The 150th-anniversary celebration concluded with the speech of the Chairman of the Board-General Director of JSC "Elvorti" Serhiy Kalapa, who personally awarded the employees with the badge "For Merit" of JSC "Elvorti" and the "Medal for the 150th Anniversary of the Founding of JSC 'Elvorti'" for their significant contributions to the development of the enterprise and diligent work.

The next day, Saturday, July 27, marked the second day of the 150th-anniversary celebrations. In addition to production tours, there were many attractions, play zones for children, performances by artists, quizzes, and contests for guests and visitors of all ages.

The official opening of our event was given to those without whom the company would not exist and whose anniversary we all celebrate - Robert Elworthy and his wife Mary. Serhiy Kalapa, Chairman of the Board-General Director of JSC "Elvorti," addressed with a welcome speech.

Besides the treats in the catering zone by Food Corporation Catering, guests could take away impressions from the performances and pleasant gifts for participating in contests and quizzes. The festive stage featured the always smiling and professional girls from the show ballet "Cats" from the city of Cherkasy. Professional drink mixers - these people make every event brighter, tastier, stronger, and unforgettable - an exclusive bartender show from Shake Up Bar Show from Kremenchuk. The next guest was a Kyiv resident, a professional magician-illusionist, the youngest and most modern magician in Ukraine - Patrick Grabar.

Agree, 150 years is a respectable age. It has encompassed the destinies of many generations of workers, created a special character of the "Elvorti" family, traditions based on patriotism, loyalty to the team, and continuity. The "Elvorti" company has traversed centuries: from producing horse seeders to seeding complexes and is now a recognized manufacturer of seeding, tillage, and plant protection machinery. Moreover, "Elvorti" is about a modern approach, "Elvorti" is about active development, "Elvorti" is about new developments and high evaluations from industry specialists.

The highlight of our celebration was the Jubilee cake from the Amali’s House confectionery - because no birthday, especially an anniversary, can go without a festive cake.

Over its existence, the company has become a leading manufacturer of agricultural machinery in Ukraine and Eastern Europe. Thanks to the hard work of many generations of workers, constant implementation of innovations, and high-quality standards, the factory has earned an indisputable reputation as a reliable partner for farmers. The factory's products are in high demand in not only Ukraine but also abroad, contributing to the development of agriculture and increasing its efficiency.

Throughout its long history, "Elvorti" has repeatedly received numerous awards and recognitions, confirming its leadership in the industry. The factory continues to develop, adapting to modern challenges while preserving its traditions.

Today, "Elvorti" produces products of the highest level. "Elvorti" innovative developments receive the highest ratings from Ukrainian and European farmers. This result can rightly called the merit of every factory worker. Those who are just starting their work path at "Elvorti" and those who created the foundation for today's achievements. Every third resident of our city has someone who works or has worked at the factory. The older generation recall: once the "Elvorti" factory provided jobs for over 7,000 people.

The company approaches this significant anniversary with high indicators. Currently, the factory provides jobs for several hundred-city residents. 150 years is a whole era of Ukraine's agricultural industry. Each year, "Elvorti" demonstrates production growth rates, providing Ukrainian and European farmers with high-class innovative products. The company shows constant growth in sales volumes in the EU markets, such as Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Hungary, Moldova, as well as Armenia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and others.
